The Adopt a School Initiative is a new arm of the 47M Project focused on impacting the next generation through prayer for local schools. Our children are under a constant assault designed to undermine their identity, and many of the cultural institutions that should protect them are actively working to steal their purity, indoctrinate them into radical ideologies, and create a generation that embraces victimhood. The enemy’s plan has been systematic, and it’s working. But we are the generation standing in the way. Now is the time to unite as mothers and fathers in the Lord and fight for this young generation. But we must be strategic in our prayers and our actions.

What if each of us focused our attention on one school in our community?

That’s the focus of the Adopt A School Initiative – targeted intercession directed at speaking life into the young people who live in our communities. When you join the Adopt A School Initiative, you commit to daily prayer for a local school or college of your choosing. Every day (M-F) you will receive a short prayer focus related to our weekly theme to help jumpstart your intercession for your school. Imagine what could be accomplished in just one year through targeted prayers for the families, students, and teachers/administrators connected to the school you are praying for! We would love for you to join us in this battle for the next generation. Even better, gather your friends and family together to cover every school in your city. We can do this. The battle for this generation may seem insurmountable, but when we take it a child at a time, a school at a time, we can make a difference!

How Can You Get Involved?

To get started, just select a local school from your community that you will commit to praying for daily throughout the school year. You can choose any school: public or private, elementary, middle school, high school, or college.

When you sign up, you will begin receiving daily emails each morning (Monday – Friday) with a short prayer focus to help jumpstart your intercession for your chosen school. Each week we will focus on a different theme related to schools, students, teachers, family issues, and more!
